On 22 and 23 March Smallwood Manor had its scheduled interim inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI).

Six children from each class in main prep were chosen to be in the final, reciting poems ranging from Spike Milligan to W.B. Yeats and including Stop the Clocks by W.H. Auden.
