House Music Competition
April 30, 2010
The House Music Competition held at the end of the Lent term was once again a great success. Smallwood prides itself in producing young musicians of a very high calibre, and this was echoed in the comments and praise from our adjudicator this year, Mr Nick Parrans-Smith, Director of Music at Lichfield Cathedral School.
There were classes for Piano—winner Laurence Wootton, Strings—winner Sarah Moses, Voice—winner Thomas Eley, and Brass and Woodwind—winner Rebecca Gunn. The overall winner of the afternoon was Thomas Eley.
Beeches won the cup for the most points in the competition. A truly inspirational afternoon of music making. Well done all Main Prep.
