LAMDA Excellence in Speech & Drama Award

Pupils from Smallwood took part in a ‘Reading for Performers’ award backed by the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). The children had to think of a theme, for example one of chose dragons and another chose ‘mysteries, the children then performed a piece of prose and a poem, finding links between the two before being asked a series of questions.
Pupils of Smallwood Manor Preparatory School did extremely well and were awarded with either a merit or a distinction.
